Philipsburg, Montana · Summer 2026
On July 11, Boots in the ‘Burg returns featuring Kelly Hughes Band — a local legend with the energy and crowd connection to turn a downtown street into a party that people talk about for months.
Last year’s Boots in the ‘Burg brought visitors from multiple states, filled the street, and created a safe, welcoming atmosphere people are already planning ahead for. Camp spaces and hotels are already filling up.
Where the money goes
Your sponsorship gives back — twice.
When you sponsor Boots in the ‘Burg, your investment does two things at once: it makes these events possible, and it puts proceeds directly back into a service this community genuinely depends on.
Beneficiary
Philipsburg Ambulance Auxiliary
Proceeds from Boots in the ‘Burg — from sponsorships and event revenue — goes directly to the Philipsburg Ambulance Auxiliary. Every dollar raised beyond what it takes to produce these events goes to them.
“Rural emergency services don’t have the funding base of a big city. The Ambulance Auxiliary fills that gap — showing up for every family in this valley, every single time they’re needed.”
How it works
Sponsorships cover production
Your sponsorship dollars go toward making the events happen — artist fees, sound and production, staffing, and logistics. That’s what keeps the doors open and the stage lit.
The bigger picture
Proceeds go to the Auxiliary
Proceeds — from sponsorships, and event revenue — goes directly to the Philipsburg Ambulance Auxiliary. The stronger these events perform, the more they give back.
What that means for you
Your brand stands for something
Sponsoring Boots in the ‘Burg puts your name on great music AND on a cause this community cares about. That’s not just visibility — that’s the kind of association people remember.
We’re committed to being transparent about how sponsorship dollars are used. Production costs are real, and they’re significant — sound, staging, artists, staffing. What’s left after those costs goes directly to the Ambulance Auxiliary. We’re proud of that, and we want our sponsors to be proud of it too. — Char Snyder, Outlaw Marketing
Not in Philipsburg? No problem.
You don’t have to be a Philipsburg business to sponsor these events — and honestly, that’s exactly the point.
The Reality
Philipsburg is a small town
Philipsburg is a tight-knit, beloved community — but it’s small. Residents regularly make the drive to larger towns for products and services they can’t find locally. The people filling our street this summer are very likely already your customers, or could be.
The Opportunity
Put your name in front of them
Stage mentions, banners, and social media features put your business in front of an engaged local crowd — people who are already in a “let’s go somewhere and spend money” mindset. You’re not interrupting them. You’re showing up where they’re already having a great time.
The Result
They remember you when it counts
When a Philipsburg local needs what you offer, your name is already familiar. Sponsoring these events is one of the most affordable and personal ways to build that recognition — in a community that’s loyal to businesses that show up for them.
Boots in the ‘Burg is a community event in the fullest sense of the word. While the music is free and the street fills up fast, what happens that night goes well beyond the stage.
Community Giving
Local Food Bank Donations
We collect donations for the Philipsburg Food Bank right at the event — putting giving directly in front of a generous, community-minded crowd.
Community Traditions
Kiddie & Light Parade Support
Boots in the ‘Burg hosts a fundraiser to benefit Philipsburg’s Kiddie Parade and Light Parade — two of the community’s most cherished annual traditions.
